SAM/HSM Management

The SAM management function within the ThrivoSign Remote Signing Solution oversees all user key generation requests directed to the SAM. When successful, keys are generated within the SAM. However, if a user's key generation request fails, the enrollment status indicates failure, with error details logged in the SAM log for reference. This function provides essential key generation information, including enrollment type, HSM status, key type (e.g., RSA2048), Sam User Id, and Sam Key Id, facilitating in-depth analysis for system administrators. Additionally, it serves as a central monitoring hub for various system events like certificate revocation, key deletion, user additions, and password changes, offering a comprehensive overview of system operations.
